Here’s a Quick Way to Find Cheap Fares – Travel Hack alert!
Hands up who loves cheap fares??
*both hands raised*
I love getting flights on a budget since it frees up money for the fun stuff like activities and accommodation or well, just saving my ££’s.
Why pay more than you have to?
I have an issue with companies who have sales, there’s sales like all year around with some companies.
I mean, I brought a coat from high street retailer, walked in a couples weeks later and it was less than half the price I paid. Show’s how low the value was in the first place. Pet hate I guess. What do you reckon? ?
One of the best tools I’ve been using for a long while now is the cheeky tool that Skyscanner offer.
I’ve brought this up in recent conversation to friends and family and they didn’t realise it existed ? I was like WHATTT how did you not know about this?
This tool works best if you are planning a trip in advance or are flexible with your dates so that you get the best price possible – So it’s perfect for jetsetters and globe trotters and anyone who loves to plan in advance or last minute!
I found a flight from Manchester to Chania, Greece which usually is a few hundred pounds, for £54 per person return. Yep we got that booked and we are going this month. Also, we got real cheap flights for long haul using this tool too. So I swear by it 95% of the time.
I’ll go ahead and show you below.
I want to go to New York City from Manchester UK so type your destinations in to the search bar. Once you click the Departure Date option the calendar comes up asking you to select your date. At this point, click on ‘Whole Month‘ instead of the alternative option.
Once you clicked on ‘Whole Month‘ you’ll see the option for ‘Cheapest Month‘. Go ahead and click on that.
Hit enter & voila you’ll get your results for the cheapest flights through the year for the chosen destination and cheapest month available at that time! You then can choose the best travel dates in the cheapest month so you still have some flexibility.
Of course check through lay overs and so forth but generally speaking from experiance, they weigh in the best prices 95% of the time.
The second one is for Easyjet
Go ahead on to the website and under the ‘Flight Info‘ tab you’ll find an option for ‘Low Fare Finder‘
You’ll then be able to key in the ‘flying from’ and ‘flying to’ option. I went ahead and searched Manchester to Amsterdam since I have plans to visit soon. Once you input that information – a chart appears showing you the prices for the upcoming months and you can go ahead and get the best price and date for you.
How do you like that?
Happy trip planning ?
